The River of Life
Οι μαθητές επισκέπτονται έναν ποταμό κοντά στο σχολείο τους και παίζουν ένα παιχνίδι το οποίο θα τους βοηθήσει να μάθουν περισσότερα σχετικά με τους οργανισμούς που ζουν στο νερό. Μέσα απ' αυτή τη δραστηριότητα οι μαθητές μαθαίνουν για την σημασία του ποταμιού, παίρνουν φωτογραφίες του οικοσυστήματος, αναγνωρίζουν την ανθρώπινη παρέμβαση.
The River of Life
Students visit a river near their school and play a game that will help them to learn more on the organisms that live in the water. Through this activity the students learn about the importance of the river, take photos of the ecosystem, recognise the human intervention. The central part of this activity allows students to collect identify and measure small animals that could be used as markers for the quality of the environment and give them a simple indicator of environmental quality of a specific site.

This activity combines scientific inquiry with music education. Students investigate the characteristics of earthquakes using real data and then sonify the data in order to produce a musical synthesis from them. Students are introduced to the sonification technique which can be applied in various physical phenomena spanning from elementary particle collisions to the study of exoplanets and beyond. |

Αυτή η δραστηριότητα αποτελεί μέρος μιας ομάδας 4 δραστηριοτήτων για μαθητές γυμνασίου αναφορικά με τη χημεία του νερού. Αυτές οι δραστηριότητες αναπτύχθηκαν αρχικά από την IUPAC και την UNESCO το 2011 στα πλαίσια του διεθνούς έτους χημείας.
Η δραστηριότητα εστιάζει στην χρήση του σετ χημείας το οποίο έχει διαμοιραστεί στα συμμετέχοντα σχολεία, με σκοπό την μέτρηση του pH φυσικών υδάτινων πόρων.

To εκκρεμές του Φουκώ Ε' Δημοτικού
Οι μαθητές θα παρατηρήσουν το εκκρεμές του Φουκώ προκειμένου να παρατηρήσουν την περιστροφή της Γης γύρω από τον άξονά της.
Trilateration and the GPS
Οι μαθητές θα μάθουν την επιστήμη πίσω από τη λειτουργία του GPS. Θα συζητήσουν την αρχή λειτουργίας του τριπλευρισμού και την εφαρμογή της στον πιο σύγχρονο τρόπο εύρεσης της θέσης μας. Θα προσομοιώσουν την αρχή λειτουργίας του GPS χρησιμοποιώντας έναν διαδραστικό χάρτη έτσι ώστε να εντοπίσουν τη θέση τους με χρήση δεδομένων που θα τους δίνουν 'φανταστικοί' δορυφόροι.
