The goal of this demonstrator is to teach students the fundamental particles that make up our world. The demonstrator 'zooms in' gradually, revealing the internal structure of matter down to the scale of quarks and gluons. Students will be asked to form some of the atoms that we find in nature. After successful understanding of the structure of atoms they will be asked to build the proton using its constituents.

Ο στόχος αυτού του μαθήματος είναι να γνωρίσουν οι μαθητές τα στοιχειώδη σωματίδια από τα οποία είναι φτιαγμένος ο κόσμος μας. Το μάθημα εστιάζει σταδιακά στο μικρόκοσμο, αποκαλύπτοντας την εσωτερική δομή της ύλης μέχρι τα κουαρκς και τα γκλουόνια. Οι μαθητές θα κληθούν να σχηματίσουν κάποια από τα άτομα που συναντάμε στη φύση. Αφού κατανοήσουν τη δομή των ατόμων θα κληθούν να 'χτίσουν' το πρωτόνιο χρησιμοποιώντας τα συστατικά του.
