KINDERGARTENERS OF MASLINA VISIT TO HIGH SCHOOL BRAĆA RADIĆ
As part of the SALL- School as a living lab project in our school, we hosted children and kindergarten teachers from DV Maslina from Kaštel-Štafilić.
They walked through the school's spice garden and smelled the plants with great interest. They already knew that tea could be made from them. Students (4.b) with the teacher showed them the school composting site where they could throw banana and apple peels and learn that food waste will turn into compost. They then had the opportunity to sift the compost on little sieves and meet the hardworking little earthworms that produce it. Then they sowed seeds into the compost and now we are all eagerly waiting for what will emerge from them!
