Achadut elementary school was founded in 1936 as the first school in the Krayot (an area in Israel). It has 472 students (1st-6th grade).

The school’s uniqueness lies in a few different initiatives and programs:

  • Leadership and responsibility. The school puts an emphasis on building leadership skills in students as well as teaching other crucial skills like responsibility and self-control.
  • Environment: Achdut is an environmentally friendly school: it holds annual activities regarding environmental matters and has an organic, ecological garden.
  • Health & wellbeing: Issues such as health, diet, and physical activity are a main concern to the school: it attempts to promote a healthy lifestyle using different methods and approaches.
  • Legacy: the school sees a great significance in keeping alive its legacy (which is intricately interlaced with Israel’s history and legacy).
