This Demonstrator combines different types of representations to enable the students to investigate bee communication.

This Demonstrator offers your students the possibility to gain information about a phenomenon that they can’t see with their eyes. The students gain information about the DNA structure by themselves during an eLearning unit while working with an interactive DNA model.

Secondary school students (13-14 years of age) learn about the achievement of honeybees, focusing on the temperature regulation in the bee hive. The structure of this learn-unit is based on the inquiry approach and includes interactive eLearning elements. The eLearning-material contains various data and live streams of the internet platform HOBOS (HOneyBee Online Studies). HOBOS is based on a specially conceived beehive which is equipped with sensors, measuring devices and several cameras, as well as a thermo graphic camera.

This Demonstrator contain information about the cell compartiments and organelles. To make this topic easier to understand, the cell compartiments are compared with a cell city.

This demonstrator uses a virtual lab. With the help of this lab the students can do the PCR like in a real laboratory and learn how it works as well as the theoretical background.

This Demonstrator is suitable for many age groups and teaches simply the theory behind a real world phenomenon using an augmented reality tool.
