Students visit a river near their school and play a game that will help them to learn more on the organisms that live in the water. Through this activity the students learn about the importance of the river, take photos of the ecosystem, recognise the human intervention. The central part of this activity allows students to collect identify and measure small animals that could be used as markers for the quality of the environment and give them a simple indicator of environmental quality of a specific site.
