Students will experiment and understand why different instruments sound differently. They will analyze different sounds and comprehend power spectra. It is a continuation of scenario A: “Investigating a monochord”.

Write a Science Opera (WASO) projects are designed as meeting points of several educational disciplines, within both science and the arts.
The “WASO Guidelines” correspond to training activities provided by the Comenius Multilateral Project “Implementing Creative Strategies into Science Teaching (CREAT-IT)”. The teacher training seminars are designed to last for one day (4-5 hours). These are Professional Development Workshops\Seminars which qualify teachers to realize 2-3 day WASO projects with their pupils, based on the WASO Guidelines.

Παρουσίαση της έννοιας του ρυθμού. Οι μαθητές τραγουδούν τη μελωδία του Ερωτόκριτου. Διαπιστώνουμε τις λεπτομέρειες των διαφορών ανάμεσα στις προσεγγίσεις. Οι μαθητές αντιστοιχίζουν μια προτεινόμενη ερμηνεία σε σχέση με τα σύμβολα μιας παρτιτούρας. Τραγουδούν ή απαγγέλουν με βάση το ζητούμενο ρυθμικό μοτίβο σε συγκεκριμένο χρόνο που τους έχει δοθεί που κρατούν με τα χέρια τους (παλαμάκια). Οι προσπάθειες ηχογραφούνται σε ψηφιακή ηχογράφηση. Οι μαθητές εισάγονται στην έννοια του ρυθμού μέσα από γνωστή παραδοσιακή μελωδία που αντιστοιχίζουν με την παρτιτούρα.
