Efthimios Chatziefstatrhiou

Chatziefstathiou Efthimios (e_xatzieustathiou@yahoo.gr) I am an Educator (teacher) and the Headteacher of the 2nd Primary of Agia Varvara, West Athens (http://2dim-ag-varvar.att.sch.gr/), an Adult Educator (MA) and a Scientific Associate of the Institute of Educational Policy for Action 4 "Educational actions to support the education of refugee children" . As an Adult Educator, I have produced papers and research which, along with my teaching, focus on planning, implementing and evaluating programs for teaching Greek as a second language to vulnerable social groups. Moreover, my work focuses on planning and implementing programs for the development of experiential active educational techniques, as well as on the training of adult trainers through experiential workshops, which are based on literary texts. My papers have been published both in Greek and foreign magazines. In addition, I have taken part in experiential workshops in national and international conferences, where I have presented my work. The past years I have worked voluntarily with Doctors Without Borders in order to raise teachers’ awareness (as well as public awareness) about diversity and its acceptance.
