SO De Zwaai

Our school is a school for special education for pupils aged 4 to 12 with behavioral problems and / or psychiatric problems. The pupils who go to our school have a permissibility declaration (TLV) for cluster 4, formerly called a cluster-4 indication. In recent years, SO De Zwaai has 70 to 80 pupils. At this moment there are school year 2017/2018 in 5 groups worked at the location Klokhuislaan. There is one SO group based in Sneek. In addition, there is a BEC (Treatment Expertise Center) kindergarten group. This BEC group can be found in Drachten.

SO De Zwaai tries to provide home-based education to pupils from Drachten and surroundings. Our students come from the postal code areas Ooststellingwerf, Weststellingwerf, Opsterland, Smallingerland, Heerenveen, Achtkarspelen, Tytsjerksteradiel and Boarnsterhim. In addition, a number of students from the municipalities of Grootegast, Marum, Leek and the municipality of Zuidwest Friesland also come.

The aim is to realize new construction in 2020 together with the SBO schools from the Drachten region and the cluster 3 education. This project "Samen Kansrijk" is in a preparatory stage.
