Škola 1 memberThe primary school "Branislav Nušić" is located in Donja Trnava, near Nis in the south of Serbia. The beginnings of school development date back to 1885, and since 1956, the school has started working as an eight-year primary school. The school itself has several smaller school buildings surrounded by a beautiful botanical garden with 42 plant species and 217 diverse trees. The primary school, in which there are classes from the first to the eighth grade, is located in Donja Trnava, is also the mother school. There are classes from the first to the fourth grade organized in Gornja Toponica, Mezgraja, Sečanica, Supovac, and Gornja Trnava, too. After completing the fourth grade, the students from these villages come to their home school in Donja Trnava where they attend classes from the fifth grade and onwards. After completing the fourth grade, students from Drazevac, the village which belongs to another municipality, come to us.
