OSOS celebrates the International Day of Education

Education is essential to drive sustainable development according to UN. On 3 December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly adopted with consensus a resolution proclaiming 24 January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development.

In OSOS, we fully share this vision and this is why we have produced the Roadmap to Open School Schooling with an emphasis on both sustainable development and gender equality. The Open Schooling Roadmap offers a concrete overview of the implementation of open schooling approaches and a clear description of the necessary steps that schools will need to take in order to become hubs of responsible innovation.

To find out more, join our OSOS Summer School, aiming to offer a high-impact and transformative experience to school leaders and teachers. Contributing to the continues professional development of teachers, the OSOS Summer School offers significant insights and tools to implement the necessary changes and diffuse responsible innovation in the school, helping it evolve to an Open Schooling Environment and focusing on Responsible Research and Innovation principles.
