Career Counsellors’ Interactive Training

The “Best Practice of Career Counsellors’ Training” handbook, is the final product of the European Project “Career Counsellors’ Interactive Training” (www.carcouit.eu). The “Best Practice of Career Counsellors’ Training” is a useful tool which includes the status of career counsellors training in Europe, the current Needs Analysis Report of specific career counsellors training needs and the best assessed modules of training. The modules and the scenarios have been implemented and evaluated by career counsellors in different countries through Europe. It is indicated that the needs of counsellors differ from country to country and therefore the training material is adapted to these needs. The main aim of the Handbook is to provide to career counsellors, to teachers and to representatives of the local and political authorities the outcomes of the project and to provide a new approach for career counsellors training across Europe, indicating the obvious need of professional and updated training.
