IES Plaiaundi BHI

The PLAIAUNDI INSTITUTE opened its doors on 8th January 1973, under the name of "OFFICIAL SCHOOL OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN FOREIGN TRADE AND ADMINISTRATION". Today it is called INSTITUTO DE EDUCACIÓN SECUNDARIA PLAIAUNDI - INSTITUTO BHI . 
Most of the pupils come from the Bidasoa region (Irún-Hondarribia) and a significant average from the following regions: Oiartzun, Rentería and Bortziri, and in these areas, due to their particularities, from the whole of Gipuzkoa.
Studies related to Vocational Training (Services) and Baccalaureate in the Third Sector are taught at the school.
Over the years, almost 600 teachers have taught at the school, and almost 80 non-teaching staff have worked there. Below is a photo of all of us celebrating the 25th anniversary (teaching and non-teaching staff).
