ART@CREATIONS

A virtual space for European artists inspired by the CREATIONS project. The first artworks will be created and posted here by Norwegian and Greek artists (first artwork due October, 2017). These will be inspired by the story of Wolfgang Pauli and the Neutrino particle, DNA and the European Space Agency's Moon Village. During 2018, additional artists will be encouraged to create and share artworks as well as the processes which led up to their CREATIONs.

Atoms & Molecules (WASO at Rubbestadneset School)

This sub-community is dedicated to the materials relevant to the CREATIONS implementation of the Write a Science Opera (WASO) Methodology at Rubbestadneset School in the Municipality of Bømlo (South-Hordaland region of Norway) in February, 2017. Secondary School (8-9th grade pupils).

Ciencia Clip: young Science Youtubers CONTEST

INTERNATIONAL CONTEST: open to any student in the world. Students learn to create their own youtube videos where they can explain to others their favourite science topic. Videos are grouped in six categories: - S: for students age 12-14 - M: for students age 14-16 - L: for students age 16-18 And then 3 other categories with same age range division for animation videos. CMS Virtual Visits

CMS Virtual Visits offer students, teachers and the general public a unique opportunity to explore the experimental site of the CMS detector. Through a web-based videoconference, CMS scientists interact with visitors in their native language, explain the physics and technology behind the experiment, and answer their questions. Junior Science Cafes scenarios will follow the guidelines of the SciCafe Network (http://www.scicafe.eu/learn_more). They will utilize the existing experience and combine creative aspects according to the proposed pedagogical framework. In the framework of the CREATIT project Science Cafes will be organized within schools or schools theaters and the teacher and students that will organize them will attempt to incorporate creative aspects and combine science with e.g. music, art and/or theater

Learning Science Through Theater

The educational activity “Learning Science Through Theater” is an initiative of Science View that is carried out annually in cooperation with variable agents (Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of National and Κapodistrian University of Athens, Elliniogermaniki Agogi, Noesis Science Center and Technology Museum and more). Students from all grades (primary school – second grade of high school) are expected to dramatize scientific concepts and knowledge from their school curriculum

Moon Village - a Global Science Opera

In 2017, the Global Science Opera will produce the opera “Moon Village”. The science opera will be performed around the world and streamed online: A year-long creative inquiry shared by schools, universities and art institutions around the planet, in 25 countries. Tjødnalio Culture Weeks

Tjødnalio school at Stord, Norway has a long tradition of ending the school year with the whole school engaging in a large culutral process and events. This year, the school collaborated with the CREATIONS project to produce a new experience for the school and a new demonstration for the CREATIONS project! The result was an Art/Science festival with 220 pupils, including an opera about supernovae.
