Sarah Llewellyn-Davies

I have been a teacher of Chemistry (up to A Level) for 24 years and Astronomy (GCSE) for the last 6 years in a mixed 11-18 Comprehensive school of close to 1400 students, situated near the North Wales border. I have experienced a multitude of changes to the science education system in terms of content and pedagogy and long for some stability! Whilst I really enjoy the stimulating challenges of teaching the wonderfully abstract subject of Chemistry, Astronomy remains a huge passion of mine and I love the unique way it engages and inspires young people across all ages and abilities to 'do science'. I also love music and photography and want to try and learn something new every day.
