Tina Nantsou

Tina Nantsou was born in Athens in 1970. She studied Physics at the University of Athens (BSc) and has been teaching science at the Hill Memorial School (primary school) since 1993. Eager to inspire her young pupils aged 8-11 yrs old with her enthusiasm for particle physics and cosmology, she started teaching complex concepts through experiments, which she presents to a wider audience through her blog “http://tinanantsou.blogspot.gr/”. Her innovative educational approach led to the creation of the “Playing with Protons”, in collaboration with CERN– a programme which allows children to live the scientific experience through trial and error, team-work and lots of fun.
