In lecture "Food is not waste" food technology and nutrition teachers from Split- Dalmatia, Dubrovnik- Neretva and Šibenik- Knin County were introduced to the policy of food waste. Different teacher- student activities in school "Braća Radić" from Kastel- Stafilic, Croatia within the SALL project were presented. Production of meals and products from food leftovers, such as old bread, orange and apple peel was described and popularized. The students made bread crumbs and bruschetti out of old bread, as well as "arancini" out of orange peel and apple cider out of apple peel.
