Lo scopo del progetto è quello di avvicinare gli studenti delle scuole superiori italiane al mondo della ricerca scientifica e in particolar modo alla ricerca svolta dall’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) e dal CERN di Ginevra. I migliori 20 studenti a livello nazionale saranno invitati a partecipare ad un master di una settimana presso il CERN, durante il quale potranno seguire corsi di formazione, visitare laboratori ed esperimenti e trascorrere alcune giornate con i ricercatori
A virtual space for European artists inspired by the CREATIONS project. The first artworks will be created and posted here by Norwegian and Greek artists (first artwork due October, 2017). These will be inspired by the story of Wolfgang Pauli and the Neutrino particle, DNA and the European Space Agency's Moon Village. During 2018, additional artists will be encouraged to create and share artworks as well as the processes which led up to their CREATIONs.

This is a community supporting primary school teachers who participate in the Playing with Protons program in Crete. Playing with Protons (PwP) is a science education initiative, led by the CMS Experiment at CERN, that brings together primary school teachers, CERN researchers and science education specialists to develop creative approaches for engaging K-6 students with science, technology and innovation.

The difficulty in detecting them may look like an obstacle, but it can also be a blessing since they can be used as probes to observe the far ends of the universe. In this community and the corresponding demonstrator we will discuss the physics of neutrinos in a way suitable for the classroom and the principles
Did you know that: E=mc2 is the most famous equation of all time in Physics? In this community and its corresponding CREATIONS demonstrator, students will be introduced to the science and some major applications of this equation in a way suitable to be presented in the classroom and then they will be guided to create a science fiction story employing the techniques of creative writing.
This community and the corresponding demonstrator will introduce teachers in the principles and methodology of creating science exhibits and exhibitions. Teachers will be able to use the proposed methodology to build their own exhibition refering to science topics of their interest. Guidelines: Teachers who wish to proceed in building their own exhibition are encouraged to create their own subcommunity in which they will attach their own demonstrator and resources and invite interested parties

Καλωσήρθατε στην εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα του STEMpowering Youth, ένα εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα STEM για μαθητές 13-16 ετών που υλοποιείται σε ακριτικές περιοχές της ελληνικής επαρχίας από το 2017. Η κοινότητα φιλοξενεί το εκπαιδευτικό υλικό που έχει παραχθεί στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος, καθώς και τα μαθητικά πρότζεκτ που γίνονται στο τέλος κάθε κύκλου όπου οι μαθητές εμπνευσμένοι από τις νέες γνώσεις απου απέκτησαν, επιλύουν μέσω της διερευνητικής μάθησης ένα αληθινό πρόβλημα (real world problem)
In 2017, the Global Science Opera will produce the opera “Moon Village”. The science opera will be performed around the world and streamed online: A year-long creative inquiry shared by schools, universities and art institutions around the planet, in 25 countries.
