In this lesson students will collect data to compare their reaction time for catching a falling object to their classmates. Possible methods for collecting data include having students catch a ruler between their finger and thumb and convert the distance the ruler to a reaction time. Students will collect data for their class and construct a graph to represent the data. They will then compare their own results to their classmates.
