The world is invaded by plastics.

Dispersion and accumulation of plastic products in the environment causing problems to the habitat of fauna and flora in particular air, soil, rivers, lakes and oceans.

We can use videos or photos, according to the age, about the Island of Midway

Imaginar

We are going to avoid  plastics…(brainstorming)

  • We have to increase sensibility about avoiding plastics
  • Better separate plastics or papers in bins

Crear

The students can use water bottles and they can drink water from taps with torns.
They can collect plastics and they can use money to buy wheelchairs or articulated beds  for students with special needs (Portugal) or for charities (Italy).
They create a GREEN BRIGADE of students, who check trash in the school, they collect and recycle .

An exchange of bottles and tins…for books!

We can suggest a  nice initiative which takes place in a little country in Southern Italy, where the bookseller receives  plastic bottles and tins from children and he gives them a book. So students can improve  reading.

Use t-shirts to turn them into shopping bags.

Use pasta as straws
