Aglaia Ntoka
Born in Athens in 1973. With scholarships from the State Scholarship Foundation and the Foundation Stavros Georgiou I studied at the Department of Primary Education, University of Ioannina. I continued my studies in the same Department and I received my PhD in 2006. I have professional experience as an assistant editor and author of articles on cultural and pedagogical research and news. From 1998 to 2001 I worked in the Students Counseling Centre of the University of Ioannina. I have participated in European research projects and have attended scientific seminars in Greece and abroad. In 2002, I attended in Germany a European scientific training program for journalists and communicators of Science (EICOS). My research interests are in the fields: The Personality and Work of Teacher, Education and Media, Sociology of Education. In these areas, I have published articles, studies and research. I have obtained my MSc in Cultural Organisations Management. Head Teacher at Parakalamos Primary School of Ioannina.The last 20 years, I’m working as a teacher in schools of Primary education, gaining extensive experience in all classes from Primary 1 to 6. Current: Coordinator of Educational Outcome at Epirus Regional Administration of Education.
