Gimnazija Vladimira Nazora, Zadar

Vladimir Nazor high school is the oldest educational institution in Zadar County. It was established in 1804. Our institution is situated in the Vladimir Nazor Park. There is a magnificent view visible from the windows of our classrooms looking over the Adriatic sea and its islands. In its long history, this school has brought up many generations of successful intellectuals who furthermore contributed to the development of our beautiful homeland. This school imparts a sense of quality education in both general and language majors. Besides the regular programs, the students have the possibility to choose from the variety of extracurricular programs that suit their interests.  
 
For this project, we have chosen 20 students that range from sophomores to seniors. Student's interests vary, so we develop them throughout common activities and projects. We believe that discussing the topic of food systems is interesting and offers many possibilities. We have chosen to focus on good examples of indigenous and traditional food cultivation and preparation. Our guiding line is communication, creativity and the uniqueness of our local community. The citizens of Northern Dalmatia express this by producing the best delicacies while respecting the nature and environment around them.
