The aim of this project is to reduce food waste in restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries near Ort Maalot.
We found the a lot of food is thrown away by restaurants, in the other hand in Maalot there is a lot of families known by the welfare system. In our project we ask restaurants to save the food that left from the service and to donate it to those families in need. Students from our school will pick the food and bring it to the welfare center, there social workers will distribute it to the families in need.
Restaurants that donate the food will receive a social badge and will appear in a landing page that promotes our project.
