Rafina is a seaside town, famous for its fish and fish taverns. Fishing is a common occupation not only professionally, but also as a hobby. With this program we wanted to connect nutrition with environmental protection and, in our case, with the sea. Proper fishing, according to the regulations, protects marine life and our own health.
1) Mr. Antonis, father of a student who fishes on a "trata", came to the class and informed us about the correct fishing.
2) We visited the Marine Life Museum in Rafina
3) We made a group poster, with a rich background. The poster calls people to Rafina's Fish Taverns, where the fishing is done right: not in spawning season, not with dynamite, "trata" after 1 mile from shore.
4) The poster was exposed at the Rafina's Student Festival and has been seeng from hundrends of people
