Learning Objectives
The school and social actors must share values such as: equality, gender equality, non discrimination, social inclusion, tolerance.
•Our priority as teachers, in this particular historical moment for the Mediterranean countries, is to promote inclusion of disadvantaged children, in particular migrant children, in a three year project or more, if necessary.

Our school wants to  support initiatives in order to protect weak or disadvantaged children, by adopting a dimension of “inclusive school”. An inclusive school welcomes every student in difficulty, not only with special needs, or sociocultural disadvantages, in particular migrant children.

In this stage, students envision and develop creative solutions that can be replicated easily, reach the maximum number of people, generate long-lasting change, and make a quick impact.

Please describe the planning and design of the project.

  • üPrepare a cozy classroom, where all the students may be welcomed.
  • üOrganize team games, such as basketball, football and volleyball.
  • üOrganize places where we can support language learning.
  • ü Improve skills and knowledges,  by enhancing the intelligences.
  • üOpen the schools in the afternoons.

Supporting teachers:

Coaches for sports;

CLIL : plan interdisciplinary works, for example by comparing cultures, (STEAM) among teachers of History, Geography, Science, Technology,  Engineering, Art and Maths, Music.

A cultural mediator who can help teachers in the work.

A Counselling support for students, families and teachers.

We have to tackle sociocultural disadvantage by:

  •  including migrant children;
  • strengthening collaboration among all the actors in the school, as well as with families ;
  • supporting a network of schools and agencies on the territory  (inclusive environment), which may collaborate: sport societies, theatre institutions, cultural agencies, school in the land of origin.
