LHC in a Pizza Box (model)

This zip file contains the instructions for making a model LHC in a pizza box and the labels for the box inside and out!

The LHC model is made using thick drinking straws and craft foam (for the detectors). The labels on the inside lid of the box talk the creator/viewer through the acceleration of protons in the LHC and their collision within the four main detectors. The top and bottom of the box contain information about what we are made of/elementary particles (the smallest 'things' that exist) and a bit of cosmology the biggest thing there/where did we come from?/What will happen inthe future?).
