Open Schooling Summer School

This quick guide explains what responsible research and innovation really means and why it is so important for modern society. It explores RRI through the lens of the RRI Tools project and provides practical examples of its implementation through a number of case studies and an overview of the RRI Toolkit structure and main contents. A selection of ‘How To’ guidelines explains how to apply RRI to specific situations, including policy, research and business contexts.

The project has been developed for 80 students16th years old from the Secondary School Santorre di Santarosa (Turin).

The Open School Development Plan is a strategic document depicting your school’s improvement and change with an emphasis on better learning outcomes for students.

The plan describes a process through which a set of objectives in terms of where your school wants to be, in relation to key areas of action such as professional development, acting as learning ecosystems, promote gender equity, create partnerships with the local community and collaborate effectively with parents and other local stakeholders.

The R4C SIM describes a framework that facilitates the transformation of schools to Digitally Mature Open Schooling Hubs. The project Reflecting for Change (R4C) is working on an advanced support framework, as well as a set of core policy recommendations, to schools seeking to introduce a type of holistic change that will ensure a meaningful uptake of sustainable innovation, with an emphasis on achieving improved learning outcomes as set by the Europe 2020 strategy.
