Brainstorm components of my scenario
Actors: Students of Junior High School, aged 13-15 years old. Especially, 20 students, 2nd grade, aged 14 years old, 12 girls-8 boys, with background knowledge from low to high, very good level to use computers.
Goals: The students do not have so much contact with the poetry, but are interested to incorporate her into their lives either read systematically poetic creations either creating their own poetic expressions.
A substantial contact with Greek poetry, which will help the students to know and improve themselves.
I want to help them explore, through poetry, themselves and express their experiences, their feelings, their dreams, so to present to a wider audience (school and local community) a theatrical-experiential approach.
Settings: Most of the action happens (and most of the activities will be completed): morning at school, in the classroom and in the ICT lab - afternoon or evening at home. And, if it is a program of school activities, in the afternoon at school.
We will work individual or group or synchronous - asynchronous web session: via e-mail, google hangout, facebook, skype, collaborative documents, wiki...
Objects: Internet Connection (Adsl), PCs, Laptops, Netbooks, Mobile Phones, Interactive Whiteboards, Video Projector, TV, VideoCamera, WebCam, Video Player, Audio CD-DVD-Mp3 Player, PhotoCamera - Educational Learning Platform (Edmodo, Moodle, ILDE...), Web Pages (Wiki, Blog, WordPress, Google Sites...), E-mail, Social Media (Facebook, Twitter...), Skype, GeneralUse Software, Web 2.0 Tools - Literary and WebMuseums sites.
Actions: Use the Internet, gather and evaluate informations, read websites and their e-mails, record their opinions, create and post their works, login to social media, discuss with peers.
Events: Realize that they can work together, to converse, to communicate, to develop their talents and confidence.
Results: Learn to use ICT as a tool to raise and process information, and understand the wealth of knowledge, which (ICT) hiding. Expanding their new knowledges and creating. Continuous Feedback and Interaction.
Length-Duration: Planned to be held the scenario in 4 weeks (approximately 8-10 teaching hours), depending on the course of activity and the technical skills of my students.
My learning design: The learning activity I'm design will help them to approaching poetry as they experienced and feel. All these with my discreet guidance, encouraging to initiatives and self-motivated.
