“Material Culture” defines human interventions and the remains of human activity, from the point of view of the traditional technology and productive history of a place. The planning of educational activities with cultural material of the museums through the connection with the curriculum agrees with the views of Modern Museology, Material Culture Theory and Modern Theories of Learning Mathematics.
The thematic areas of the Museums can be a basic tool for the realization of out-of-school activities that untie pupils from the classroom and give them incentives for self-action and active participation.
