A newsletter published by Apoplous.org during a 3-year research study of thin clients in primary education (Cyprus). Between 2005 - 2008, a one to one ratio was achieved in a primary school in Cyprus, using thin clients and open source software to assess their impact in lowering the total cost of ownership of computers in education.
This is the final issue of the Apoplous Reports. We review the OLPC XO laptop, which we introduced to the public with an official event, and we discuss the methodology and technologies involved in a proposed one to one environment.
