The ALICE Experiment at CERN

In this educational scenario, students will learn about the structure of the Universe a mere microsecond after the Big Bang by investigating the formation of Quark Gluon Plasma in Heavy Ion Collisions with the ALICE experiment at CERN. The students will use real collision data and will investigate the production of strange particles, one of the most sensitive probes to the study of Quark Gluon Plasma.
