This scenarion intends to have students reflecting on their knowledge related to the phases of the Moon and addressing some misconceptions related to its influence on us.

Forensic Science
Pupils are given a senario and presented with a "Crime Scene" which has been prepared by the teacher in advance. They have to look at the roles of people involved in investigating crime and by using forensic science techniques and team work investigate to find which of 4 suspects do they think has committed the crime and write a report. The first lesson is an introduction to forensic science and the roles of different people in investigating crime. It then has upto 10 different types of evidence which can be collected and studied depending on the equipment and time available.

Gas Laws with Stars and Nebulae HY
Much of the evolution of the universe can be described through the pull of gravity and push of pressure. Gravity condenses gas, it heats up, and if it can, it expands, and if it can’t, stars are formed. In this Hangout, we will consider the gas laws, and look at different kinds of nebulae.
