With this Demonstrator students are learning in a learning environment about renewable energies. The learning environment consists of two parts: an analog free-work learning cycle (preparation) and the Demonstrator itself, which means working with an online simulation about the turnaround from fossil to renewable energy.

HOBOS – To Be(e) or not to Be(e)

Secondary school students (13-14 years of age) learn about the achievement of honeybees, focusing on the temperature regulation in the bee hive. The structure of this learn-unit is based on the inquiry approach and includes interactive eLearning elements. The eLearning-material contains various data and live streams of the internet platform HOBOS (HOneyBee Online Studies). HOBOS is based on a specially conceived beehive which is equipped with sensors, measuring devices and several cameras, as well as a thermo graphic camera.

After you designed a lesson/scenario you can upload it to the ISE authoring tool, so that it can be processed online (e.g. shared with other partners/teachers, cloned, and delivered).
