In this activity, students will culture nitrogen-fixing bacteria from root nodules of legumes plants. The aim of the activity is to understand the nitrogen cycle, as well as the importance of bacteria in it.  

Το θέμα της συγκεκριμένης παρουσίασης εστιάζει σε διαφορετικές καλές πρακτικές που μπορούμε να εφαρμόσουμε έτσι ώστε να διατηρήσουμε ή ακόμα και να αυξήσουμε τη γονιμότητα του εδάφους που καλλιεργούμε τα λαχανικά μας. Οι πρακτικές αυτές εκτός του ότι βοηθάνε στην βελτίωση της γονιμότητας του εδάφους, δίνουν ερεθίσματα και για πολλά άλλα μικρά πειράματα στα οποία μπορούν να συμμετέχουν ενεργά οι μαθητές και να αντιληφθούν τη σπουδαιότητα του εδάφους.
