As children, we’re taught to paint cold things blue and hot things red. In science we learn that blue things are actually far hotter than red things! In this lesson, we will learn how hot objects radiate energy as light of many colors following what is called a black body curve.

What are all the forces that exist when an object is being pushed? Students learn about the four fundamental forces then explore the relationship between force, mass, acceleration and friction by doing online investigations through the PHET website. They will use data collected to determine the mass of an unknown object. Then incorporate the four fundamental forces into a simple object being pushed.
