Lo scopo del progetto è quello di avvicinare gli studenti delle scuole superiori italiane al mondo della ricerca scientifica e in particolar modo alla ricerca svolta dall’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) e dal CERN di Ginevra. I migliori 20 studenti a livello nazionale saranno invitati a partecipare ad un master di una settimana presso il CERN, durante il quale potranno seguire corsi di formazione, visitare laboratori ed esperimenti e trascorrere alcune giornate con i ricercatori

INTERNATIONAL CONTEST: open to any student in the world. Students learn to create their own youtube videos where they can explain to others their favourite science topic. Videos are grouped in six categories: - S: for students age 12-14 - M: for students age 14-16 - L: for students age 16-18 And then 3 other categories with same age range division for animation videos. A special categorie for best video from Latin American and european (excluding Spain) countries is also part of the contest
NATIONAL CONTEST: science monologues for students. Ciencia Show is a Spanish stand-up science national contest for students. Students present a video with a stand-up science explanation in less than 5 minutes. The best 6 students in each of the selected cities of the project perform in the semifinal in a local theatre with experts as jury. The winner of each city travels to Bilbao for the national final.
