Healthy food, healthy mood

Hosted by OSOS , contributed by NEMO teachers … on 8 January 2019

(Young) Children are not always aware of the influence of healthy food on their health and mood. Therefore in this project, students will be exposed to and teached about healthy food and get the opporunity to meet farmers, food producers, salesmen in the food industry and cooks. If facillities are present, students may also learn how to cook healthy from cooks.

During this project, there is room for discussion about healthy food and the economical influence of it all.

One of the ket aspects of OSOS is the inclusion of RRI - Responsible Research and Innovation - priniples (more information at RRI-Tools.eu). This is how this project fits into the RRI model:

Governance: Students work together with local stakeholders and parents. They show students the importance to consume healthy food.

Public engagement: Students get involved with various stakeholders who give students information about food.

Gender equality: Students could work in gender equal teams.
