Problem solving

The problem solving method refers to authentic themes that cover a greater variety of topics. These themes derive from the particular interests of the students, their needs, problems, and questions that emerge from daily-life experiences and anxieties. In most cases, these problems concern global social-ethical-political human-environmental themes/problems.

This description of the problem solving method structures teaching-learning process in 6 phases and gives a domain-general overview of the activities within each phase. Teachers can use this general description to add the learning content in the empty cells of this template
