Nutrition and well-being at school: "Healthy, strong and happy" is a project aiming to develop the ICT skills of the students as well as their stress management skills and resilience. The project also aims to increase the knowledge of healthy lifestyle habits and promote positive mental health and emotional well-being. Proper nutrition is essential for students to thrive academically, emotionally, and physically - It is the fuel their bodies and minds need to succeed!
- Objective 1: Understanding Nutrition. Learn about the five food groups and their recommended daily servings. Understand how to read nutrition labels and make informed food choices. The Benefits of a Balanced Diet: Eating a balanced diet improves academic performance, behaviour, and overall health. Students are encouraged to pack their lunchboxes with veggies, fruit, whole grains, and protein!
- Objective 2: Understanding Physical Health. Students learn about the benefits of exercise and explore different types of workouts. They discover how to incorporate physical activity into their daily routine. Physical Activity at School: Regular physical activity improves overall well-being and academic performance. Students are encouraged to be active throughout the day, every day!
- Objective 3: Understanding Mental Health. Learn about the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, and how to better care for yourself and others. Take time to check in with yourself and prioritize self-care. The Role of Mental Health in Well-being: Students are encouraged to take care of their mental health by incorporating mindfulness, meditation, and physical activities into their routines.
- Objective 4: Understanding Sleep Hygiene. Good sleep hygiene includes establishing a regular sleep schedule, avoiding energy drinks and drinks high in sugar, creating a comfortable sleep environment, and limiting screen time before bed. Physical benefits of sleep. Sleep is essential for physical health. It allows our bodies to repair and rejuvenate, improves memory, boosts mood, and reduces stress. Students are encouraged to establish a healthy sleep routine.
ICT is integrated into the process of making the project. The students use computers, software, and online tools to create, edit, organize, and present their work. The use of ICT increases student engagement and motivation. It enhances the learning experience by providing interactive materials. It enables students to collaborate and communicate effectively on projects.

1. We defined the project goals and objectives.
2. We developed a detailed project plan and set timelines.
3. We used special software, laptops, the internet, VR glasses. 360 camera, interactive displays to make research and identify the problem areas in the local community.
4. We made a questionary that we distributed to members of our local community in order to collect data that we can later analyze.
