Het project Open Schools for Open Societies (OSOS-project) stimuleert een ‘open school’ benadering. Een open school stelt zich open voor haar omgeving en dit zal de kijk en opvattingen van een school uitdagen. Nieuwe inzichten worden gebruikt voor het innoveren van onderwijs. Binnen het Europese project OSOS is NEMO Science Museum de Nationaal Coordinator voor Nederland. De scholen in deze community maken deel uit van deze Nederlandse afvaardiging binnen dit project.
