Bees for the future - community
Zajednicu 18 membersThis sub-community was created to host all the relevant documents related to the project - Bees for the Future - created in the framework of the Islands Diversity for Science Education project (co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union).
This activity focuses on the current problematic regarding the decline of bee populations around the world.
Students will discover what is the importance of bees for human life as well as for the whole ecosystem and will realise the dangers of their disappearance. After this, they will investigate how their communities and the communities that live in other islands are behaving towards bees and in a collaborative Inquiry environment will create solutions that are directly applicable to the community.
Bees have been a major contemporary science concern, as they are an endangered species. Considering this, students from the different islands will collaboratively figure out solutions to improve community awareness and conservation strategies in the islands.
