This educational scenario aims to help educators in order to teach their students some basic spatial concepts of the field of geography (as proposed by Gersmehl and Gersmehl, 2007), using a natural disaster, the hurricanes. This concepts include pattern, region, comparison, hierarchy, association and transition.
