More than 45 teachers and experts from 10 countries (Bulgaria, France, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania and Spain) will come together during the OSOS Summer School 2019 that will take place in Marathon on July 07-12 2019.
The OSOS Summer School provides participants with a powerful framework to engage, discuss and explore:
- how schools need to evolve, transform or reinvent itself, according to the innovation level it is already reached:
- Innovation & openness for beginners: from individual efforts to holistic action plans
- Introducing innovation to competent schools: from essential change to acceleration
- From innovative schools to RRI‐enriched learning commons
- how schools will facilitate open, more effective and efficient co‐design, co‐creation, and use of educational content (both from formal and informal providers), tools and services for personalized learning and teaching
- how schools can become an innovation incubator and accelerator.
The summer school will use the OSOS portal as a tool to develop innovative school projects that fit the needs of the society. We have prepared a series of workshops that include:
- The OSOS Open Schooling Roadmap
- Identifying the real needs of your school
- Introducing RRI Principles in your school projects
- The historical paths become path of knowledge. An innovative approach via geographic information system
- Discover Nature's Genius in Greece: Biomimicry methodology
