Summing up in the "BEES(Y)" project among two OSOS schools: the 4th Junior High School of Petroupoli, Greece and ICS "Dante Alighieri" in Merlara, Italy.
In the framework of the "BEES(Y)" collaboration:
- the two schools exchanged letters and gifts to present the students, but also bee products and seeds of honey producing plants that were simultaneously planted and enriched the gardens of the two schools
- the students have set up an exploratory community with 9 transnational groups of students to seek and record information on bees as organisms, as a society, their role in awareness and sustainability, the threats that threaten them and the initiatives we can take to protect them
- Both schools participated in the online vote for a vote by the European Parliament on the ban on dangerous neocorticoid pesticides.
- They also celebrated jointly World Beekeeping Day, with many activities
- The Italian School, in cooperation with the Municipality of Merlara, organized on Thursday, May 17, a congress on the bee,
