Sierpinski Carpet Project-in ETS " Nikola Tesla" Nis and Shelter for street children-Nis (CHC)

Students learn about fractals and Sierpinski square. Independently explore the resources on the Internet and present companions.  They collaborative work on the essay, using Internet services for collaborative work (OneDrive, GoogleDocs) and school Moodle platform. They use the software GeoGebra to make their own tools for the formation of Sierpinski squares. Students attached their work on Moodle platform, in the form of homework. Students participate in two workshops, Sierpinski square,basid on the prepared material. Finally,  they made Sirpinski square, second iteration, of prepared  materials. Folds into a multimedia classroom Sierpinski carpet fourth iteration, in cooperation with the Scholl of mechanics "15 May" from Prokuplje. Collaboration is done via Skype.

Electrotechnical School "Nikola Tesla" in Nis sponsored materials for the project Sierpinski carpet, to prepared material, for Shelter. Students who volunteer at the Shelter for street children in Nis, helping children who live and work at street,  in the development of their one Sierpinski carpet.

The festival "Science is not a bogey," March 2015, its Sierpinski carpets present together students ETS "Nikola Tesla" and children, beneficiaries of the Shelter in Nis. Get  together at the "May, Month of Mathematics" in 2015 as well as the presentation of the Sierpinski Carpet Serbia in Belgrade in May 2015.

Students prepare an electronic version Mengerovćs sponge. It is based on the Sierpinski square, but presented in 3D. Will present their work at the festival "Science is not a bogey," March 2015.

The objectives are for students to expand their knowledge of fractals, to research, and team collaboration. On the other hand, the cooperation of students with vulnerable groups of children and their social convergence is also an important aspect of learning activities.
