An old toy and a dream of a child meet to bring joy in the heart now and tomorrow. Through the arts universal human values reach human perception creatively and effectively delivering the message of awaking, of seeing life in the bigger picture, as a unity of multiple, diverse and unique identities. Children of two different countries experience a story about toys through drama activities. Every child shares his thoughts and feeling about an old toy of his/her earlier childhood and a wish or dream he/she has about his/her future as an adult. The children express creatively and combine artistically these positive thoughts. Through this process, children understand their similarities and differences and the importance of cooperation. The parents are present in the last part of the process helping their children to create a symbol of their past and the future. The question arises: What about the parents? Have they reached their dreams? Are they happy? Is this a happy world? Is there happiness in the soul? Health Education, Art Education, Environmental Education, Language and Literature, Drama and Theatre Education are involved to give answers to those questions through an interdisciplinary way of work. Empathy, volunteering, environmental care, building the self, are the keys to create a better present and a better tomorrow. The joyful feelings of childhood can be found in the present and in the future while children and parents together give meaning to everyday’s life by being loyal to their promise to be active citizens and never stop dreaming. The children interplay with their classmates, with children from a different country, with their parents and artists such us, graphic designer/ photographer/ performance artist/ artist who works with installations/ artist working with video art. They research, discuss, think creatively and critically, take decisions, they cooperate. They create an artistic piece of work that engages the community of adults and delivers the message that happiness is in our hand. ICT provide the means in the creative process.
