A newsletter published by Apoplous.org during a 3-year research study of thin clients in primary education (Cyprus). Between 2005 - 2008, a one to one ratio was achieved in a primary school in Cyprus, using thin clients and open source software to assess their impact in lowering the total cost of ownership of computers in education.
In this issue we discuss the "Classroom of Tomorrow", the rising cost of IT in education, and we make a prediction on a new machine under development by Apple (we expected a thin client device with touch screen and four years later we got the iPad, a machine with a touch screen and relying on iCloud storage and remote app store).
