Koulutuskeskus Brahe (Education centre Brahe)

Education centre Brahe is located in the North Ostrobothnia region of Finland in the municipality of Siikajoki with a population of 5 000. Brahe offers nature and equestrian studies and degrees in equestrian service, veterinary nursing and nature education, to name a few. Brahe has about 250 vocational school students and 14 teachers. 

Education centre Brahe has faced enormous changed related to the condition of facilities and in terms of digital equipment during the LfE-project. The school previously had one computer classroom in poor condition which was equipped with outdated and slow computers.

With the help of the project, they bought smart boards, laptops, and audio equipment for the school. Also, with the help of the municipality, the facilities were renovated. The school can now concentrate theoretical teaching in the main building since they have the necessary computers and other technical solutions that make teaching possible.
