Learners are asked to represent, on their choice, an Earth season, on a simple drawing (12-14). Using a light source and an Earth model, learners should start a discussion that will lead to ray inclination influence to seasons (12-14). Using chocolate, learners plan and execute an experience where they understand the influence of ray inclination to Earth seasons and then they can discover the Mars seasons by doing Mars geographic analysis and either comparing with Earth ray inclination (12-14 and 14-16) or either with the use of simple trigonometric calculations (16-18), both using http://marstrek.jpl.nasa.gov/ portal and simple tools.
