Petros Georgiakakis

Petros Georgiakakis (Dr.): Petros holds a PhD from the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. His research interests include Usability Evaluation of Network Supported Collaborative Learning systems based on advanced educational technologies with the use of design patterns. Right now he is doing a post-doc research in the area of motion detection games for children with Learning Disabilities. His recent work and interests mainly combine aspects from the fields of instructional design, human computer interaction and web engineering with the intention to find effective and efficient methods for the development of interactive multimedia that meet user needs and promote creativity and innovation. He has participated in several European R&D projects such as TELL, Grid4All, idSPACE, Educomics, eLMSAnanlytics, SAILS, and others. He has written more than 20 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and as proceedings of international and national conferences. Petros before joining the CoSyLlab group (research laboratory from the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus and ITisART (e-Learning company), he run a private secondary school.
